Emily Page is doing a great job fleshing out her characters. They are a bit more developed than in book 1 of the series. I think one of the things I like about the series is that the heroine is a business owner and fits the sleuthing around her work schedule instead of sleuthing full time and making you wonder who is minding the store. Ms. Page gives the reader just enough information to get them speculating on whodunit and when the villain(s) is/are revealed, it is fun to put the links together to see how Maddie arrived at the solution.Product details

Good read
All kindle books are not equal. This one is well written and the plot is developed and makes sense. Quick easy reading.
Interesting, but didn't flow well. Didn't really draw me into the story. At the finish, my main feeling was "That's it?"
An entertaining read...this was a fun book. Maddie is very endearing and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a light mystery.
Good book to start the day with. It had just enough mystery, building up to a great ending of the book. The main character is very feisty!! Love it
You will enjoy the characters and the town it's centered around. Love the food references kinda makes me wish that it had recipes too
Although I have enjoyed the first and second books in this series, I am disappointed at the many spelling and grammatical errors. Whether a book is in electronic or print from, these are important to a professional writer. When I spend money for a book, I don't care to have these mistakes ruin the flow of the story. I hope the third book is better edited.
