The thing I like about a LM story is the main characters work through their problems for the most part honestly. She could have had Eirik & Ciara meet & drag out the fact Eirik killed Ciara's brother for a few chapters just for the angsty drama. If you like that kind of thing you'll be disappointed. By talking about the issue they get past it & we're treated to a better story. Of course, it's important to like paranormals if you're going to get into this one!

I really enjoyed reading this book. All of the books in this series are good. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Loved the stories about highlanders and the Scottish heritage. Lucy Monroe has a good way of keeping your interest.
Highly recommend reading the series.
Full of imagination, fantasy and love, these books are impossible to put down. I love revisiting the characters we have met in the earlier books as the saga progresses. You can bet I will be waiting for the next chapter.
A journey not only into the paranormal world but also into Scotland. You put the two together and I am in love. So I lost my heart not only to "Dragon's Moon" but to this series!

Lucy Monroe's Dragon's Moon is the latest in the Children of the Moon series. Fans of the series will be delighted to visit with some old friends. I enjoyed Dragon's Moon very much and find that in Monroe's books her characters often take on a reality all their own. Her characters are grounded with issues that we all face at one time or another, along with the more fantastical issues they face of course, and their journeys are hard fought so that when they triumph the reader celebrates with them. Eirik and Ciara were a joy to read and the Highland world Lucy Monroe brings to life is vivid and mesmerizing. Dragon's Moon is a not to be missed adventure.
I've really enjoyed this series and have been waiting eagerly for this book, I love it but not as much as the previous books. The beginning was a bit slow for me, once I got involved in the story, it went well. I didn't feel a real connection between Eirik and Ciara until the ending.

I feel that this book answered all (or most) of the questions about the different shifters and why the had to merge with the clans. The ending appeared very rushed and the information provided gave me the impression that the next book will move the timeline of the series forward to another era or at least by 20 or 30 years.

It was great to see the characters from previous books and I enjoyed the information provided by Ms. Monroe on their lives.

I will definitely be reading the next book in the series.
I enjoy the mythology surrounding the Chrechte. Lucy Monroe did an emotional job of revealing the slow burn relationship between the two protagonists. I enjoyed how she connected the two characters via a past event. It added warmth to the story and went a long way in explaining the initial hostility between Ciara and Eirik. The historical aspect of this novel helped add a bit of fact to a predominantly fictional story. I loved learning about the Scottish clans and the battle for the throne. These elements made the Children of the Moon universe feel all the more real. I visited Scotland in the 90's and the book added to both of my Scotland's my heart and my mind!
